American Corner & Elementary Library conduct Kidpreneurs lecture for CPU Elementary pupils

CPU Elementary pupils received certificates for their participation in the KidPreneurs lecture

The American Corner, CPU Elementary School, and CPU Elementary Library conducted a lecture on “KidPreneurs” last November 23, 2022 in the Henry Luce III Library. The participants were selected top elementary pupils from the Grade 6 level. The lecture aimed to build and develop the entrepreneurial and innovative spirit of kids.

The speaker is CPU Professor Rea Maria Leong-on, who presented her experience with entrepreneurship, launching a business, and managing her business endeavors.

For their activity, the pupils had to come up with their own business ideas and presented them.

Director of Libraries Prof. Cynthia Peleña and Elementary Principal Janet Jaco delivered welcome messages for the pupils and presenter. The event was hosted by CPU Elementary School Librarian Rhea Joy Fernandez and American Corner Librarian Chilou Batoon.
