The exhibit entitled “History Blues, Homecoming Gold: A Tribute to Decades of the Central Spirit’s Resilience” officially opened on February 6 at the Henry Luce III Library Lobby.
The exhibit opening is one of the events for the first day of the CPU Grand Alumni Homecoming.
“We decided to put up the exhibit to remind everyone of the history of Central Philippine University”, said CPU President Dr. Teodoro Robles. He also welcomed alumni and guests who came from all around the world to attend the Alumni Homecoming.
The exhibit features the history of CPU from its founding in 1905 to the present. Some of the highlights include Hopevale Martyrs, Gold Plated medallion donated by the family of National Artist, renowned author and College of Law alumnus the late Ramon Muzones and the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ Medal of Valor given by recipient and HS alumnus Brig. Gen. Custodio Parcon.
The exhibit will be opened until June.
