A good leader with a grateful heart—this is what Cynthia is to her colleagues. A lady of confidence and strength, she is very open in supporting her fellow librarians. Cynthia graduated in AB History with units in Library Science at Central Philippine University (CPU) in 1991, where she also earned her MLIS (Master in Library and Information Science) in 2010. She also serves as a faculty for the Bachelor of Library and Information Science program under the College of Computer Studies, teaching Cataloging and Selection & Acquisition. Her research interest is inclined to Library and Information Science, and Library Management. Faith is very important for this woman, and she is a combination of two’s: open to suggestion yet firm, kind yet strict, and serious yet fun loving—qualities that she will surely make good use of in navigating the library as the Director of the University Libraries.
