Last June 26, 2020, 1:30 PM, CPU Henry Luce III Library hosted its 2nd webinar on “Accessing online resources for course materials” with Dr. Reysa Alenzuela as the speaker.
The webinar was exclusive for Central Philippine University faculty. Teachers from elementary, high school, college, and graduate studies tuned in to the webinar to learn about various available online resources they can use for teaching.
The webinar also introduced the Henry Luce III Library website. The library website will also feature links to open access and online resources for faculty.
The webinar is part of the library’s new virtual reference services for the university community. Due to the ‘new normal’ and physical distancing, students and faculty may not be able to use the library the way we are used to. As a means of reaching out to our clients, we are providing them information on how to make the most of the library, as well as other resources they can also access at home or anywhere they are.
The library is taking steps to support CPU faculty’s teaching as we transition to an online learning environment. This coming summer term will be online.
Webex was the software used for the webinar. A recording will also be available soon for those who weren’t able to attend.
The library’s first webinar was last June 5 on “Creating Virtual Reference Services” with Paschalia Terzi as speaker.
The library will also be hosting its 3rd webinar on July 3, Friday, in partnership with the San Sebastian College-Recoletos Manila Graduate School of Law, on the topic “Copytalk: A Webinar on Copyright for academics”. For more information and registration, check our Facebook post.
